   September 28th, 2009 at 4:52 pm There are so many wonderful ideas here that I would like to comment on a few. I was flying in Alaska for several years and know the importance to aviation. Someone had the comment that Harry Reid said and he didn’t really know what GA is all about. There are so many facets and GA serves in so many ways that most of the public, does not even realize. Some on us in Aviation do not even know all the benefits that GA serves.
   The one comment that stuck me as a terrifically great idea, is the on of Peter Dunn above about using a civilian fleet to help patrol the border. It would give older pilots, like myself a reason to continue to fly and also be of useful service.

Ok Then, I guess I will have to tell a story about flying. I don’t know if anybody will listen, as they may be bored to death.

It was the 4th of July and our wedding anniversary. We were living in Anchorage Alaska at the time. I had called a friend of ours and said we would arrive the night before the 4th and where leaving Anchorage, which is about 2 hours, away in our Cherokee 160, which I was flying at the time. I hope that we well not be remembering the past in this way. I saw this couple with some other songs, one is “Press One for English”. Anyway got a kick out of this and thought that some other people may also enjoy checking out the video.

This is the start of an adventure into posting some of my stories on this blog, hoping that there will be people out there that can relate to these expreinces or, get enjoyment from following.

This first Post is basically an introduction of what there is to come in this category. The category is going to be ” Lucky Adventures ” because that is what they have come to be, looking back into the past. There are many lucky adventures that have been played out in this time that I have spent on the earth so far.

I call these “Lucky Adventures” however, I am stating here that with out God’s had in many of these adventures they would not have come to pass as so lucky. I just want ever one to know that there are many things that I can not take the credit for, so we will leave those to the providence.

I am going to take you on a journey from the farm many years ago through many changes, in America and many that where awaiting me. These where not planned changes, but hey start to evolve into the next adventure and journey, as one thing leads to the next.

So return to this site from time to time and you will be updated with as many things as I can give.  Now I would like you to check out this link to give you an idea of what is in store.
